On 6th December, The Ethical Cam Community came together in London for a day that was equal parts grounding, empowering, and joy-filled, a true reflection of what our community stands for.
We began the day gently, meeting at a cosy coffee shop where hugs were exchanged, conversations flowed, and first impressions quickly turned into genuine connections. Some women arrived already familiar with one another, while others stepped in feeling a little nervous, but the energy was open, welcoming, and supportive from the very start.
From there, we headed to a beautiful location, setting the tone for what would become a deeply nourishing experience. Surrounded by calm and intention, we officially opened the event with a workshop led by Anna, who guided us through a powerful session focused on connecting to the body and breath. The workshop invited everyone to slow down, drop out of their heads, and return home to themselves. It was grounding, expansive, and exactly what was needed to anchor the day.
Following the workshop, we moved into our photoshoot — a moment that held so much meaning. We had experienced girls who felt comfortable in front of the camera, alongside women who admitted they were feeling shy. But as the shoot unfolded, something beautiful happened. With encouragement, laughter, and the safety of being surrounded by other women who truly get it, those nerves began to melt away. Confidence emerged naturally, and the room filled with pride, softness, and self-expression. After a beautiful day, we made our way back to an Airbnb to get ready for the evening — the Bohemian Spirits party! Stunning outfits, music, and amazing performances transformed the space into something magical. What followed was pure celebration. We danced, laughed, and moved freely, honouring not only the day we’d shared but the women we are and the community we’re building together.
The London meet up was a reminder of the power of safe spaces, embodied connection, and sisterhood. It was a day where strangers became friends, nerves turned into confidence, and every woman left feeling seen, supported, and inspired.
